Our Story

A Baltimore native, Chad grew up in a family that loved designing and building. His grandfather was a commercial welder who built his own house. His father was a contractor, specializing in remodeling, custom woodworking and painting. HIs mother was an avid gardener, seamstress and diyer. These roots inspired Chad to devote his professional and much of his personal time to designing and creating.

His B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech led him to a career in product development, designing everything from heart monitors to strollers. As a hobby, Chad pursued construction, remodeling, furniture making, abstract art and metalworking to continue to stretch this creative muscle. In designing and building outdoor spaces for himself, his family and his friends, he knew that he found a passion he wanted to turn into something more. In 2025, Beltline Outdoor Living was launched with a simple mission to not only craft amazing outdoor spaces that bring joy, but to make the design and build process easy, fun and rewarding.
